10:43 am: I have decided to take the time to write on LJ. Everyday i read LJ but I never write on it and haven't done for at least 2 months.
Most recently I have been to Ireland, which was an experience i would not jump to again. Some people can be pleasant and some not so much (being English does not always fare well). Also the stupidity of some Americans is incredibly annoying for instance so many thought 'it rains constantly in the U.K. another saw a picture of Winston Churchill and said 'Isn't that Hitler?' Fools. And as I was walking round a castle one American starts slagging of the English and its history, and starts saying how amazing Ireland was. Then started to 'big up' the Blarney stone and how it represents Ireland- I then told him that the Blarney stone is originally from Scotland (which it is)- which he did not like me pointing out. but ha ha on him. Couldn't help it, I had to get him back some way!

Before Ireland had done a few days work in places here and there, but for the majority of the time I have been significantly bored, and acted as Mrs. Housewife to keep myself amused (and doing research!).
At the moment I am waiting for a phone call to say whether I have a job as a waitress. If not I have a phone number to become a barmaid but my dad doesnt want me doing that so its likely that he'll make sure I don't do that job.

For the rest of the summer I plan to work, I have a dig coming up (if i can afford not to work!), which the university is paying for my accomodation and travel etc, and going to cornwall, so im desperately saving money to get as many lessons as I can. Then back to uni! Im living with all male rugby players so im buying lots of pink fluffy things and get pictures of eye candy to stick in the kitchen to try and lower the masculinity of the house!

At easter I am going to Thailand, Australia (to see Uluru- if the protests have stopped- and family), and finally Singapore, where hopefully I will be able to see Justin, which will be nice as I missed him last week!

Not going to say anymore as I have rambled for far too long already!

12:17 am: Loads to say but cant be bothered to, but heres a little bit.
Coming home this weekend, friday going to see lenny henry, saturday Im getting my hair done, and sunday I get to see dan again- yay!
I am now an Immortal, for I managed to drink 16ish different nasty spirits, so I get a gold plaque! Im in the student newspaper- in the sports page...which shocked me when i heard about it, but its just me at James Bond Casino night with the rugby team ;)
Got mooned the other day by the guys Im going to live with next year, apparently they are getting me ready for naked wednesdays- like Im going to allow that to happen, and apparently they are going to bar the dryer so I have to hang my underwear around the house to dry -rolls eyes- men!
I have been working all weekend on essays to get them out of the way and have successed in half finishing one and finshing a presentation, so after that just one more (the hardest essay) to do. Then just latin every week- eep! But if I get it all done then it means I can go to school disco with the rugby club- which is always fun!

I would work now because I feel full of energy but I know the brains dead and hurts so I shall probably sleeps now!

05:06 pm: i didnt get any chips- there was nowhere to park! -cries-

11:27 am: A very strange thought has occured to me.. I was looking at my keyboard and all the letters are in capitals, and i find that rather strange because when you type its the normal non- capped letters that appear unless you press SHIFT or CAPSLOCK, and you only use capitals for names place and beginnings of sentences etc so most of the time you are using non capped letters.... If that makes sense? even now on I have only used 3 capital letters (except for shift and capslock but that was to prove a point :P) Therefore I think that from now on they should make keyboards with the little letters- like my olde tyme typewriter is.....

OR

Because im doing essays Im losing the plot....BUT if I am a good girl and finish my essays soon I will continue having my 'fat' month and get chips :D

02:16 pm: well this week was eventful. Had my cousins funeral which was devastating to say the least for me and my entire family. My dad and my eldest brother took it pretty hard. But on the plus side i went to the funeral in my brothers car and had a nice chat with two of them. The other im mad at the moment coz he just hangs up on me when i call, and he had a party where my bed was ALMOST  used for something other than sleeping, AND broke one of my fairys- luckily for him it wasn't one of the ones that Miles bought me which are worth £35- £40! He would have been deadmeat then!

As well as all this its been very difficult to get a house for next year because as men cant ever be satisfied with what they see, it was only the last house we got that they liked. Its bright green :(. I have no more to say on the matter.... 
In the last week or 2 i have managed to read the alexander trilogy and finally the memoirs of a geisha- great book! read that one in a day coz i couldnt put it down. Will now beg sarah for movie to see if it does it any justice!

Yesterday was mean- i had to drive myself to A+ E coz some REALLY painful ...pains (cant think of a better word.)..in my stomach. The nurse was convinced it was the tablets i was taking for my anemia, but she wouldnt listen when i said i hadnt taken any for a long time coz i ran out. So they were going to send me home with nothing, until i kicked up a fuss of how the pain was unbearable and they cant just send me home as if nothing was wrong- and i dont usually act up like this, i can tolerate a lot of pain- particularly coz im the only girl in a family of boys-boys are mean and fight for fun :(- but eventually they gave me painkillers and told me to see my gp- BUT  i had already been to my gp before going to the hospital, who said there was nothing she could do for me. So overall i feel rather let down by the NHS. I have often supported them, but if they cant figure out how to help a girl with a stomach ache then what hope do they have for people with more serious problems?
So anyway after driving back, which was incredibly painful (lifting foot for clutch and brake) i decided to cheer myself up with some classical musicals high society and singing in the rain. and this morning after a lovely walk to the library (love it in there- except its hot) i have just bought a whole load of disney films coz i only have them on video and therefore cant watch them in uni :( so YAY i shall have more disney. 
Also a whole bunch of books on philosophy- for some reason im doing a philosophy module- so i have ordered- brave new world (only know 2 people who love this book as much as me, which is my old english teacher, and joey!), 1984 and a book by Ignatious (sp?) Donnelly- who wrote about the downfall of atlantis

01:41 pm: Well its been interesting over the christmas period i got to see friends- all except jenni b :(- i looked for you at work! but you werent there -cries- Saw dan a bit which was nice, but wish i had the chance to spend more time with him. It was nice to see family too, not working though drove me crazy so much so that i would wake up and start practising my latin- ahh!
New years was a bit boring, i wanted to go to craigs but i wasnt allowed so i spent most of the night alone because my parents friends dont really see any point in talking to me much more than what is polite.


Unfortunately on saturday I lost a close relative to cancer, and Im hoping to return home next week in order to go to her funeral- her eldest son is my age, and on wierd occasions he has been able to confide in me. I hope that in these circumstances he will want a hug or a shoulder or whatever, because I know he has found it very difficult to accept the fact that his mum was dying and is now gone. Even I am struggling to believe it, it probably wont hit me till the funeral, just she was so young and full of life with a family to take care of, its a shame but I hope there is happiness wherever she is now. Michelle all i hope is that you rest in peace...


Back at uni now- missed one lesson (i dont do this) due to the fact that i got lost -cries- but on the plus side we have Prof. Lord Renfrew (one of the best researchers of our time!) giving us 4 whole lectures on archaeology- we can also meet him, have a chat or a drink.
